the Red Cross disaster response.

When fire disasters
happen to
families, in some cases, they are forced from their homes with
only the clothes they were wearing. This is when the relief
effort from the Jackson Area Chapter of the Red Cross begins. |

The Jackson Area
Chapter provides emergency aid to
families by assisting with the needed emergency lodging, shelter,
groceries, clothing, shoes, life sustaining medicines
and prescription eyeglasses. |

Blankets & Comfort Kits |

addition, the Jackson Area
Chapter also provides Personal Comfort Kits and Blankets to victims of
fires.
Blankets and Comfort Kits
are made available through voluntary donations to the
Chapter. |
