Health Services Workshop: This course is designed to prepare Red Cross paid and volunteer staff about the activities of Disaster Health Services (DHS) and how DHS works with other Red Cross activities to bring integrated service delivery to disaster clients. Volunteer RNs, LPNs, CNAs, EMTs, PAs, and MDs who serve in Mass Care Shelters will learn how assistant disaster victims with basic medical needs in a disaster setting. This training focuses on specific medical and health services protocols that are applicable in a Disaster Relief Shelter. Participants will learn about the Red Cross medical  limitations and resources that are used to assist disaster clients and Red Cross staff on a relief operations.
