The Brumleys'
The
David and Linda Brumley
began
their Red Cross volunteer career in 2003 and together have
devoted many valuable hours of service to the community.
They are both Health
& Safety instructors and have helped to teach and
certify individuals in lifesaving CPR and First- Aid
skills. The Brumleys' are also Disaster Service
Volunteers ready
to bring relief to others in the event of a disaster. As
Disaster Service Volunteers, they provide Mass Care,
Sheltering and Client Casework in addition to being Disaster
Services Instructors. As a team they have deployed
together across the country on National Red Cross
assignments to help assist hurricane, tornado and
flood victims. David is also a Member of the Board of
Directors and serves as a Disaster Action Team (DAT)
Captain responding daily to assist local fire victims.
Linda and David are both retired.
Dave Montoya
Dave Montoya
began his Red Cross volunteer career in 1997 and has
devoted countless hours to the community. He is a Health &
Safety Instructor and has taught and certified hundreds of
individuals in lifesaving CPR and First-Aid skills. Dave is also a
Disaster Service Volunteer and is ready
to respond to help others in the event of a disaster. He
provides Mass Care, Sheltering and Client Casework in addition to being a
Disaster Services Instructor.
Montoya has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors
and has participated in several fund-raising events and
coordinated the annual 3-mile cross-country run which
financially benefits
the local chapter. Dave is also a Disaster Action Team (DAT)
Captain responding daily to assist local fire victims. He
also lends his photography and musical talents to
promote the Red Cross services and social events. Dave
is also employed as a Veteran Services Rep at the
Career Center of Tennessee and he received the
American Red Cross Exceptional Volunteer Award in
2000.
